In this blog post, we'll explore the reasons behind Google Workspace emails going to spam and how SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) authentication methods can help mitigate this problem. The Challenge: Emails Going to Spam When your Google Workspace emails consistently land in the recipient's spam folder, it can harm your organization's reputation, reduce email deliverability, and affect your business communication. Understanding the reasons behind this issue is the first step towards resolving it effectively. The Role of SPF (Sender Policy Framework) SPF, or Sender Policy Framework, is an email authentication protocol that helps prevent email spoofing by specifying which mail servers are authorized to send emails on behalf of your domain. When configured correctly, SPF provides a way for email servers to check whether an email is sent from an authorized source. Here's how SPF works: DNS Records : SPF records are created in the DNS (Domain Name System) of your domain. These records list the IP addresses or domains of authorized mail servers for sending email on behalf of your domain.
